11x Alternative focused on compliance and booked meetings

11x, known for its Alice AI SDR, is a recognized name in autonomous outbound, and teams considering it are usually looking for an AI rep that can run a calling motion at scale. When buyers compare 11x alternatives, what they often want to pin down is how the calling is governed and whether the conversations turn into booked meetings rather than just activity.

ColdCalls.ai leads with the compliance-first wedge and with booking. Every call discloses that it is an AI, numbers are scrubbed against DNC in real time, calling stays TCPA and consent aware, and you decide the hours it dials. Beyond dialing, it qualifies leads, handles objections, books meetings straight into your calendar and syncs to your CRM. It is a managed, done-for-you SDR on a flat fee with no free plan.

SHORT ANSWER Last updated July 2026

11x sells two AI workers: Alice, a multichannel AI SDR that runs sequences across email, phone, social and SMS, and Julian, an inbound AI phone agent for qualifying and routing inbound leads. 11x does not publish pricing on its own site in July 2026, so the entry cost comes from a sales conversation rather than a price page. Teams comparing 11x alternatives are usually weighing how much of the motion is genuinely autonomous and how the calling side is governed. If your priority is multichannel email and social sequencing, the closest alternatives are Artisan, AiSDR and Regie.ai. If the phone is the channel that matters and you want disclosed, DNC-scrubbed calls that end in a booked meeting, a purpose-built outbound service such as ColdCalls.ai is the closer fit, priced as a flat managed fee rather than per seat.

11x is a known AI SDR for outbound. ColdCalls.ai differentiates on a compliance-first foundation and on calls that book meetings into your calendar, delivered as a managed SDR on a flat fee.

Multichannel coverage versus a channel that actually completes

The pitch for a multichannel AI worker is that one system touches a prospect by email, phone, social and SMS, so nothing falls through. The pitch is genuinely appealing, and the thing to check is which of those channels the system finishes on its own. Email and social are straightforward to automate end to end because sending is the whole action. The phone is different: completing it means holding a live conversation, and most multichannel products treat the call as a task handed back to a rep.

That matters because the channel you are usually trying to fix is the phone. If dialing is the step your team is not getting to, a system that queues call tasks reproduces the bottleneck with better reporting. The category split is laid out in our guide to what an AI SDR is, and the voice-first side is on our AI SDR page.

  • Ask which channels complete autonomously and which queue a task
  • Email and social automate cleanly; the call is the hard one
  • A queued call step leaves the original bottleneck in place

What unpublished pricing tells you about the fit

When a vendor keeps pricing off the site, the entry point is a sales conversation and the number is usually scoped to your seat count and volume. That is normal for enterprise software and it is worth reading as a signal about who the product is built for: teams large enough that a bespoke contract is worth the cycle time on both sides.

For a team of three reps trying to add pipeline this quarter, that procurement path is itself a cost. The practical comparison is not the headline rate but what you pay per booked meeting once the contract, the onboarding and the internal ownership are counted. We work through those numbers in our breakdown of AI cold calling cost and compare the field on our best AI cold calling software page.

  • No public pricing usually means enterprise-scoped contracts
  • Count onboarding and internal ownership, not just the licence
  • Compare on cost per booked meeting across every option

The reporting buyers ask us about, stated accurately

If you have been researching 11x you have probably run into references to a 2025 news story, usually stripped of the detail that decides what it means. Here is the accurate version, taken from the source and re-read on August 5, 2026.

On March 24, 2025 TechCrunch published an investigation by Dominic-Madori Davis and Marina Temkin, based on what it described as nearly two dozen sources including investors and current and former employees. It reported that companies shown as customers on the 11x site said they were not customers. A ZoomInfo spokesperson was quoted saying "We did not give them permission to use our logo in any manner, and we are not a customer", and Airtable said its trial was very short and never used in production. Former employees told TechCrunch that headline revenue counted one-year contracts at full value even where a three-month break clause functioned as a trial and had been exercised, and one put customer loss at 70% to 80%. 11x responded in the same article that it reports contracted ARR rather than realised ARR, that its investors knew that, that it had promptly removed inaccurate customer mentions, and that its retention rate was 79%.

Two things matter for a buyer, and almost nobody states them. First, this is journalism, not an enforcement action: no regulator brought a case and nothing has been tested in court, which makes it a materially different situation from the FTC action against Air.ai that we cover in what happened to Air.ai. Second, 11x is still operating. We loaded 11x.ai on August 5, 2026 and it is live, selling Alice and Julian, with the pricing URL returning a 404. We are a competitor, so we are not going to tell you what to conclude. What we will say is that the episode is a useful reminder to ask for references you pick yourself, to ask which revenue metric a growth number is, and to insist on a short exit clause. The full account, with the timeline and the diligence questions, is in what happened to 11x AI.

  • TechCrunch investigation published March 24, 2025, citing nearly two dozen sources
  • ZoomInfo and Airtable both told TechCrunch they were not customers
  • Former employees described contracts counted at full value past an exercised break clause
  • 11x replied that it reports contracted ARR, removed inaccurate mentions, and had 79% retention
  • No regulator brought a case and nothing has been tested in court
  • 11x.ai is live as of August 5, 2026, with no published pricing

Compliance-first by design

AI disclosure on every call, real-time DNC scrubbing, TCPA and consent awareness and configurable hours are the foundation, so outbound scales without leaving governance to chance.

Calls that book

The agent does not just hold conversations; it qualifies, handles objections and books meetings into your calendar, turning dials into a filled pipeline you can work.

Managed and flat fee

You get a done-for-you SDR run on your behalf, priced as a flat managed fee with no free plan, so the cost is predictable as volume grows.

Good questions

11x vs ColdCalls.ai, answered

If your priority is compliant calling that books meetings, yes. Both are AI SDRs, but ColdCalls.ai leads on AI disclosure, real-time DNC scrubbing and TCPA awareness, and books qualified meetings into your calendar with full CRM sync.
Two things: the compliance-first foundation and the booking focus. Every call discloses it is AI and stays DNC and TCPA aware, and the agent qualifies leads and books meetings into your calendar rather than measuring success by activity alone.
