Skip the dialing. Our AI SDR calls your leads, qualifies them and books meetings into your calendar. From $499 a month.
PhoneBurner costs $140, $165 or $183 per user a month on an annual plan (Standard, Professional and Premium), or $165, $195 and $215 if you pay month to month. There is no published seat minimum and a team admin account is included free. The number the pricing page does not show is ARMOR, the spam flag monitoring and remediation add-on, which is listed as an add-on on all three plans with no price attached. PhoneBurner is one of the few sales dialers that prints its whole rate card, which makes it easy to budget and easy to underbudget. The three headline prices are accurate. What they leave out is which plan you actually need for the way your team calls, and the add-on that protects the answer rates PhoneBurner is sold on.
Below is what each plan costs, what changes between them, what a team of five, ten or twenty-five actually pays in a year, and how to tell whether you need PhoneBurner at all or need the calls made.
How much does PhoneBurner cost?
Three plans, all priced per user. The annual rate is the one PhoneBurner leads with, and paying monthly adds $25 to $32 per seat.
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Yearly cost per seat, annual vs monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $140 per user a month | $165 per user a month | $1,680 vs $1,980 |
| Professional | $165 per user a month | $195 per user a month | $1,980 vs $2,340 |
| Premium | $183 per user a month | $215 per user a month | $2,196 vs $2,580 |
Power dialing is unlimited on every plan, and every plan includes the built-in CRM, workflow automation, one-click voicemail drop, email sending, call transfer and click to call. PhoneBurner's team page states "No setup fees. No contracts. Add/remove seats as needed," and the pricing page includes a free team admin account, so a manager who does not dial does not need a paid seat.
What is the difference between the PhoneBurner plans?
The dialer is the same on all three. What you buy by moving up is team tooling on Professional and inbound plus text messaging on Premium. The limits in the comparison grid are the part most buyers miss.
| Feature | Standard | Professional | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power dialing | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Call recording storage | 30 days | 90 days | Unlimited |
| Contact import limit | 10,000 a month | 20,000 a month | 50,000 a month |
| Softphone, live call monitoring and coaching, open API | No | Yes | Yes |
| PhoneBurner number, inbound routing, answer callbacks in the app | No | No | Yes |
| Call transcription and AI note taker | No | No | Yes |
| SMS | No | No | 1,000 outbound a month, then $15 per 1,000 |
| Number monitoring, spam flag remediation, answer rate analytics | ARMOR add-on | ARMOR add-on | ARMOR add-on |
Two of those rows decide the plan for most teams. The first is recording retention. If you coach from call recordings or need to keep them for a compliance review, 30 days on Standard is short, and the only plan that keeps them indefinitely is Premium. The second is the contact import cap. A rep working a fresh list of 600 contacts a day will import roughly 12,000 a month, which is already past the Standard limit.
SMS also needs A2P 10DLC registration before PhoneBurner can send it, which is a carrier approval step rather than a switch in the account, so budget a few days for it if texting is part of your cadence.
Is ARMOR included in PhoneBurner pricing?
No. ARMOR is listed as an add-on on Standard, Professional and Premium alike, and the pricing page shows no price for it. It covers number monitoring, spam flag remediation that PhoneBurner does for you, and the advanced answer rate analytics. The Numbers add-on and the Connect Scores add-on, which filters out disconnected and unlikely-to-connect numbers before the dial, are priced the same way: listed, not quoted.
That matters because answer rate is the whole sales argument for a power dialer. A number carrying a "Spam Likely" label gets fewer pickups, and the protection against that sits outside every plan price. Ask for the ARMOR, Numbers and Connect Scores prices in the same quote as your seats, and ask how many numbers your call volume needs, since a number-based add-on may scale with how many numbers you run rather than how many seats you buy. If you want the mechanics of why numbers get flagged in the first place, we cover them in how to avoid Spam Likely on outbound calls.
What does PhoneBurner cost for a team?
Our arithmetic on PhoneBurner's published rates, before any add-ons, telephony numbers or extra SMS:
| Team size | Standard, annual | Professional, annual | Premium, annual | Premium, paid monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 rep | $1,680 a year | $1,980 a year | $2,196 a year | $2,580 a year |
| 5 reps | $8,400 a year | $9,900 a year | $10,980 a year | $12,900 a year |
| 10 reps | $16,800 a year | $19,800 a year | $21,960 a year | $25,800 a year |
| 25 reps | $42,000 a year | $49,500 a year | $54,900 a year | $64,500 a year |
For a sense check against a real purchase, Vendr's buyer guide for PhoneBurner reports an average contract value of $22,552 a year. That figure rests on a single recorded deal, so treat it as one data point rather than a benchmark, but it lines up with roughly ten Premium seats on annual billing.
The monthly option costs 15 to 18 percent more depending on the plan, and PhoneBurner lets you add and remove seats as needed. For a team with seasonal hiring or high turnover, the flexibility can be worth the premium: paying $300 a year extra on a Standard seat is cheaper than paying for twelve months of a seat that sits empty after a rep leaves in month four. When seats come and go every month, the invoice drifts away from your actual headcount quickly, and it is worth running it through software that matches each vendor invoice against what was approved rather than paying whatever arrives.
Did PhoneBurner raise its prices?
Yes. In a support article created September 30, 2024, PhoneBurner announced its first price increase in over 15 years: the base price of Standard, Professional and Premium went up by $16 a month, legacy plans were phased out, and month-to-month customers saw the new price on their first bill on or after March 1. Customers on a contract were not affected at the time, and the article states that pricing for add-on services such as ARMOR and numbers would not change.
The practical takeaway for a buyer today is the contract clause, not the history. If you sign annually, get the renewal rate written into the agreement, because the last increase hit month-to-month accounts on their next bill while contracts were left alone at the time.
Is PhoneBurner worth the price?
For the right team, yes. PhoneBurner is a true power dialer: it places one call per rep and moves to the next contact when the rep is free, so it structurally cannot abandon a call the way a predictive dialer can, and it has no seat floor. That combination is rare. Five9 will not sell under 50 concurrent seats and Orum publishes a nine-seat minimum, while a single PhoneBurner seat costs $140 a month. For solo agents in real estate, insurance and mortgage, and for small inside sales teams, that is an honest entry price. We compare it against the contact center platforms, seat floor by seat floor, on our call center dialer pricing page.
What PhoneBurner does not change is who does the talking. The dialer removes the dead time between calls, and a person still has to be on every connected call, qualify, handle the objection and book the meeting. If your constraint is rep hours rather than dial speed, a faster dialer only moves the bottleneck. That is the case where it is worth pricing the conversation instead of the dialer.
| Option | Published price | Who talks to the prospect | Seat floor |
|---|---|---|---|
| PhoneBurner Standard | $140 per user a month, annual | Your rep | None |
| PhoneBurner Premium | $183 per user a month, annual | Your rep | None |
| ColdCalls.ai Starter | $499 a month, one AI SDR seat, about 1,500 connected minutes | The AI, which qualifies and books the meeting | None |
| ColdCalls.ai Growth | $1,490 a month, three AI SDR seats, about 6,000 connected minutes | The AI | None |
The comparison is not $140 against $499. A PhoneBurner seat still needs a rep, and a US SDR costs far more than the licence. The right comparison is the cost of a booked meeting under each model. If you want the dialer side in more depth, our power dialer software page compares PhoneBurner with the other single-line and multi-line dialers, and PhoneBurner alternatives covers the options for teams that want the calls handled end to end. PhoneBurner pricing FAQ
Does PhoneBurner have a free trial?
Yes. PhoneBurner's pricing page says the free trial gives you free minutes to test the dialer, and teams evaluating it can ask for a custom demo and an expanded trial for their agents. Every plan on the pricing page has a Start Free Trial button, so you can test Standard, Professional or Premium before paying.
Does PhoneBurner require a contract?
No. PhoneBurner offers monthly billing at $165, $195 or $215 per user, and its team page states no setup fees and no contracts, with seats added or removed as needed. Annual billing is optional and cuts the per-seat price to $140, $165 or $183 a month.
Is there a minimum number of users for PhoneBurner?
PhoneBurner publishes no seat minimum, and you can buy a single seat. The pricing page also includes a free team admin account, so a sales manager who monitors and distributes leads but does not dial does not need a paid licence. That makes it one of the few dialers in this category a solo agent can buy at list price.
Which PhoneBurner plan includes texting?
Only Premium, at $183 per user a month billed annually. It includes 1,000 outbound SMS a month plus unlimited inbound, and extra outbound texts cost $15 per 1,000. Sending SMS also requires A2P 10DLC registration and carrier approval, which PhoneBurner notes on the pricing page.
How much is PhoneBurner per month for one user?
$165 a month on Standard if you pay monthly, or $140 a month if you commit to annual billing. Professional is $195 monthly or $165 annually, and Premium is $215 monthly or $183 annually. Add-ons such as ARMOR, dedicated numbers and Connect Scores are priced separately and are not shown on the pricing page.
