Close CRM Pricing per User and What the Close Dialers Cost
Close publishes every seat price, which makes it easy to compare. The bill a calling team actually pays has three parts, though: the seats, telephony usage passed through at carrier rates, and AI credits for Chloe, its built in voice agent. Below is each figure from the Close pricing page and help center, and what they add up to for a real outbound team.

Close CRM costs $9 (Solo), $35 (Essentials), $99 (Growth) or $139 (Scale) per user a month billed annually, and $19, $49, $109 or $149 billed monthly, read on close.com/pricing on October 4, 2026. The Power Dialer starts on Growth and the Predictive Dialer on Scale. Calls, numbers and AI credits are billed on top.
Why it works
What your team gets with Close CRM pricing
Four plans, no seat minimum
Solo $9, Essentials $35, Growth $99 and Scale $139 per user a month billed annually. Solo is limited to one user and 10,000 leads. The other three sell from a single seat.
The dialer decides the plan
Essentials has calling but no dialer. The Power Dialer and workflows start on Growth at $99. The Predictive Dialer, live call coaching and unlimited recording retention are on Scale at $139.
Usage is a second invoice
Calls and SMS are passed through at Twilio pay as you go rates, rounded up to the next minute, on a usage invoice separate from your plan. AI credits for Chloe are a third billing line.
What it handles
Dialed, disclosed and booked on autopilot
The agent works your lead list, discloses it is an AI on every call, scrubs against DNC in real time, qualifies the prospect, handles objections, and books the meeting straight into your calendar and CRM.
- One published monthly price per AI SDR seat, with calling minutes included in the plan
- An AI voice agent built for first touch outbound: it opens the call, handles the first objection and qualifies
- Qualified meetings booked straight into your reps' calendars, with the call written back to your CRM
- DNC scrubbing and state calling window checks applied before every dial
- Every call recorded and transcribed, with the AI disclosing itself at the top of the call
- Works beside Close, HubSpot or Salesforce, so your reps keep the CRM they already use

It replaces the dialing hours, not your CRM or your closers |
CRM and phone platforms reprice without notice, so every figure carries the date it was read. Close lists telephony at Twilio pay as you go rates, which also change, so check the current per minute rate for your calling country before you budget.
How much does Close CRM cost per user?
Close costs $9, $35, $99 or $139 per user per month on annual billing, for Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale. Month to month the same plans are $19, $49, $109 and $149. Those are the figures on close.com/pricing as we read them on October 4, 2026, and Close advertises "save up to 50%" on annual billing.
The annual discount is uneven, which matters when you pick a billing cycle. Solo costs 111 percent more month to month, Essentials 40 percent more, Growth about 10 percent more and Scale about 7 percent more. On the two plans an outbound team actually uses, annual billing saves little, so monthly billing is a cheap way to keep the option to change tools. Close also offers a 14 day free trial with no card and a 30 day money back guarantee after purchase, so the first month is low risk either way.
Which Close plan includes the power dialer?
The Power Dialer starts on Growth at $99 per user a month annually. Essentials at $35 has built in calling, SMS and voicemail drop, but no dialer and no workflows, so a rep on Essentials clicks to call one lead at a time. The Predictive Dialer, which dials several numbers at once and connects a rep when a person answers, is only on Scale at $139.
That makes the dialer the real price driver. A team that wants to dial through a list, not click through it, starts at $99 a seat, and a team that wants predictive pacing pays $139. Close itself says reps who "spend most of their day prospecting and calling" usually belong on Scale. If you are weighing predictive dialing in general, the staffing math matters more than the seat price, which we cover on predictive dialer software. The plain one line mode is explained on power dialer software.
How much do Close calling minutes and phone numbers cost?
Close does not include calling minutes in the seat. Its help center says calls are charged per minute "according to Twilio's Pay-as-you-go Voice pricing", and its pricing page says most outbound calls cost around $0.02 a minute, with phone numbers from about $1 a month. Usage is invoiced separately from your plan and drawn from a prepaid usage balance.
Two billing rules from the Close help center change the number for a calling team. First, every call is rounded up to the next full minute, so a 70 second call bills as 2 minutes. On a cold list most dials are short, which pushes the real cost per connected minute above the headline rate. Second, an internal transfer bills as at least three separate calls: the original call, the outbound leg to the colleague and the inbound leg when they answer. Call Assistant transcription is an extra $50 a month per organization plus $0.02 a minute. A2P 10DLC registration for US texting adds one time fees from $4 plus $15, and a monthly campaign fee from $1.50.
What does Close cost for a team of 5, 10 or 20 reps?
Our arithmetic on Close's published annual prices, assuming everyone is on the same plan:
5 reps on Growth (Power Dialer): 5 x $99 = $495 a month, $5,940 a year.
10 reps on Scale (Predictive Dialer): 10 x $139 = $1,390 a month, $16,680 a year.
20 reps on Scale: 20 x $139 = $2,780 a month, $33,360 a year.
Then add telephony. At Close's own "around $0.02 a minute", a rep who logs 1,500 billed minutes a month adds about $30, so 10 reps add roughly $300 a month, plus numbers. The software is still the smaller line. Every seat needs a rep in the chair, and the loaded cost of an SDR runs into tens of thousands a year, which our AI vs human SDR cost breakdown puts side by side.
How much does Chloe, the Close AI agent, cost?
Chloe Voice Agents are available on every Close plan, but they are not free to run. Each Chloe call uses AI credits for the AI processing and also bills normal telephony minutes, the same rates your reps pay. Close includes 500, 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 credits per user a month on Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale.
Two details from the Close help center are easy to miss. Included credits stop growing at 10 users, so the most a Scale account gets is 20,000 credits a month whether it has 10 seats or 40. And extra credits come as monthly subscriptions, from $20 for 1,200 credits ($0.017 each) down to $0.010 a credit from the $750 tier up. Credits reset monthly and never roll over. Close does not publish how many credits one minute of a Chloe call uses, so you cannot turn a call volume into a dollar figure before you test it. There is no global credit cap per agent either; Close tells you to deactivate the agent or stop batch calls to control spend.
Can Close Chloe make cold calls?
Not in the way an outbound team means it, by Close's own guidance. Its help center says Chloe "performs best when calling warm or known-interest leads" and lists cold outbound to contacts with no prior relationship as "Not recommended". The compliance page goes further: Chloe "should only be used to call leads who have opted in or expressed prior interest in being contacted", and she "does not automatically check" the US National Do Not Call Registry.
The operational limits point the same way. Close allows up to 3 concurrent Chloe calls across all voice agents, workflows and batch calls, a batch session holds up to 1,000 contacts and places at most 100 calls, and Chloe works in English only, to US and Canadian numbers. That is a good fit for speed to lead follow up and reactivating old leads inside Close. It is not built to work a fresh prospect list at volume, which is the job our AI cold calling software is priced for, with DNC scrubbing on every dial and the minutes inside the plan.
Close vs PhoneBurner and CloudTalk on price
They are different purchases, which is why the seat prices look so far apart. Close at $99 is a CRM with the Power Dialer included. PhoneBurner at $140 per user annually is a dialer that sits on top of a CRM you already pay for, see PhoneBurner pricing. CloudTalk is a phone system: Expert at $49 includes its power dialer, its Parallel Dialer is $39 more, and you still need a CRM, see CloudTalk pricing.
So for a 5 rep team that has no CRM yet, Close Growth at $495 a month is usually the cheapest complete stack on list price. For a team already on HubSpot or Salesforce, Close means a CRM migration, and a dialer that plugs into the existing CRM tends to cost less in total. We compare those connector options on CRM dialer and on HubSpot dialer.
When an AI SDR is the better buy than more Close seats
Close is a strong buy when you already have reps and want one tool for the CRM, the phone and the dialer. What it does not do is create calling hours. Ten Scale seats cost $1,390 a month in software, and the expensive part is still ten people working through the list.
If the bottleneck is that nobody has time for first touch calls, the purchase is different. ColdCalls.ai puts an AI voice agent on the dial: it calls inside each state's calling window, says it is an AI, handles the first objection, qualifies against your criteria and books the meeting onto a rep's calendar, with the call written back to your CRM. Our Growth plan is $1,490 a month for three AI SDR seats and about 6,000 connected minutes, so the minutes are part of the price instead of a second invoice. Your reps keep Close for the conversations that need a person. Plans and minute pools are on our AI cold calling pricing page.
