Talkdesk Pricing: Talkdesk Cost per User, Express and the Outbound Dialer
Talkdesk lists $85, $105, $165 and $225 per user a month, but the $85 tier has no voice and the outbound dialer is not in any tier. What 10 reps really cost.

Skip the dialing. Our AI SDR calls your leads, qualifies them and books meetings into your calendar. From $499 a month.
Talkdesk publishes four per-user prices: Digital Essentials at $85, Voice Essentials at $105, Elite at $165 and Industry Experience Clouds at $225, each per user per month in USD. The $85 tier has no voice channel, so the cheapest Talkdesk plan that can take or place a phone call is $105. The outbound dialer (predictive, power, preview and agentless modes) is not listed in any of the four tiers and has no published price. Read from talkdesk.com/pricing on September 27, 2026.
Most Talkdesk pricing roundups copy the four numbers and stop there. That is fine if you run an inbound support desk. If you are pricing Talkdesk to make outbound sales calls, the numbers on the page answer the wrong question, because the part you need is sold separately. Here is what each tier includes, what it leaves out, and what a 10-rep calling team should actually budget.
How much does Talkdesk cost?
Talkdesk sells its contact center, which it now calls CX Cloud, in four editions. All four prices are per user, per month, in US dollars.
| Edition | Published price | Key features Talkdesk lists |
|---|---|---|
| Digital Essentials | $85 per user per month | Email, chat, SMS and social messaging, Studio and routing, Connections, API access, live dashboards, Guardian. No voice |
| Voice Essentials | $105 per user per month | Voice engagement, speech recognition, voicemail transcription, Studio and routing, Explore reporting, API access |
| Elite | $165 per user per month | Everything in Essentials plus custom reporting, screen recording, performance management, workforce management and automated notifications |
| Industry Experience Clouds | $225 per user per month | Everything in Elite plus a vertical package: financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail, travel, utilities or commercial and residential services. Government is custom priced |
Every tier carries the same line underneath: "For more add-ons and recommendations contact sales." That sentence is where most of the real cost lives, and for an outbound team it is where the dialer lives too.
Does the $85 Talkdesk plan include phone calls?
No. Digital Essentials covers email, chat, SMS and social messaging only. Its feature list has no voice engagement line at all, and voice first appears on Voice Essentials at $105. This is the most common mistake in third-party Talkdesk reviews, which quote "$85 per user" as the entry price for a call center. For any team that uses a phone, the real entry price is $105, which is 24% higher than the headline.
Is the Talkdesk outbound dialer included?
Not in any edition on the pricing page. Talkdesk sells outbound under a separate product it calls Agentic Outbound, or Proactive Outbound Engagement. That page lists predictive, preview, power and agentless dialing, AI answering machine detection, pacing and abandonment controls, TCPA and TSR compliance settings, branded caller ID and a Salesforce integration. Its only call to action is "Request demo". None of the four pricing tiers names a dialer among its key features, so treat the dialer as a quoted add-on and get its price in writing before you compare Talkdesk to anything else. Our side-by-side of outbound call center software shows which vendors put the dialer inside the seat price and which quote it separately.
Two numbers on the outbound page are worth reading carefully. Talkdesk says teams can "increase outbound volume by 200 to 300%" and that connects per hour often improve "from 5 to 15+". Those are vendor claims with no study attached. They describe what predictive dialing does in general, and any predictive dialer will make the same promise.
There is also a staffing condition that comes with predictive dialing on every platform. The algorithm needs enough agents on the campaign to pace calls without abandoning answered ones, and the FTC's safe harbor caps abandonment at 3% of answered calls per campaign, measured over each 30-day period. Genesys puts its recommended floor for predictive at 15 agents in writing, which we cover in our Genesys Cloud CX pricing breakdown. Talkdesk does not publish a floor, so ask what agent count its pacing assumes for your campaign.
What is Talkdesk Express and how much does it cost?
Talkdesk Express is a self-serve version for small businesses in the US and Canada. The pricing page describes it word for word as "built for small businesses. Includes 25 licenses and $100 in free credit, for businesses under 50 employees" with "no commitment or contract required." The Express FAQ adds that it runs on pay-as-you-go credits, that "additional users cost $50 per month," and that you add a card to buy more credits when the $100 runs out.
Express covers phone, text, email, live chat and social messages in one inbox. It is aimed at a small support team answering customers. Talkdesk does not list predictive or power dialing among Express features, so a small sales team should not assume Express is a cheap way into the outbound product. Also note the hard limit: Express is only available to companies under 50 employees, and signups from outside the US and Canada are blocked.
What does Talkdesk cost for a 10-person outbound team?
Here is the arithmetic on the published seat prices alone, before the dialer add-on, telephony usage and any AI modules. We use Voice Essentials as the floor because it is the cheapest tier with voice.
| Team size | Voice Essentials ($105) | Elite ($165) | Industry Cloud ($225) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 reps | $525 a month, $6,300 a year | $825 a month, $9,900 a year | $1,125 a month, $13,500 a year |
| 10 reps | $1,050 a month, $12,600 a year | $1,650 a month, $19,800 a year | $2,250 a month, $27,000 a year |
| 25 reps | $2,625 a month, $31,500 a year | $4,125 a month, $49,500 a year | $5,625 a month, $67,500 a year |
Three things sit on top of those lines. First, the outbound dialer, which is quoted. Second, telephony: Talkdesk keeps a separate Usage and Rates section in its knowledge base because calling minutes are metered apart from the seat, so ask for the US outbound per-minute rate. Third, the AI products. Copilot, Autopilot, Navigator, Interaction Analytics and Identity sit on a separate CXA pricing page that shows no figures at all, only "Talk to an expert".
The step from Voice Essentials to Elite is $60 a seat, or $600 a month for 10 reps. What it buys is mostly supervisor tooling: workforce management, screen recording, performance management and custom reports. A support floor with shifts and service levels needs those. A 10-rep cold calling team usually does not, and it is the most common way a Talkdesk quote grows past what the team planned for.
Is Talkdesk billed monthly or annually?
The pricing page shows "per user, per month" and does not print a contract term next to any of the four editions. Express is the only product that states "no commitment or contract required." For the main editions, treat term length, auto-renewal and the price protection at renewal as things to confirm in the order form. If you sign, put the renewal date and notice window somewhere that will track the contract terms and flag the renewal before it rolls, because a per-seat contract that renews automatically at the current headcount is hard to shrink later.
Talkdesk vs Five9 vs Genesys pricing
The three enterprise contact center platforms that publish a list price all price per seat, and all three put the outbound piece somewhere other than the headline.
| Platform | Cheapest tier with voice | Licence model | The catch for outbound |
|---|---|---|---|
| Talkdesk | $105 per user per month | Per user | Dialer not listed in any tier, quoted separately |
| Five9 | $159 per user per month (Core) | Per concurrent user, 50 seat minimum | The 50 seat floor makes the smallest Core contract $7,950 a month |
| Genesys Cloud CX | $75 per user per month (CX 1) | Named, with concurrent and hourly options quoted | Outbound campaigns included, but predictive needs about 15 agents per campaign |
| ColdCalls.ai | Starter $499 a month | Per AI SDR seat, about 1,500 connected minutes included | No human reps. The AI makes the calls, so you pay for outcomes rather than headcount |
Five9 detail and the concurrent-seat math are in our Five9 pricing post. For a side by side of the dialers that sit on top of these platforms, see our call center dialer comparison.
Is Talkdesk worth it for outbound sales?
Talkdesk is a strong buy when inbound support is the center of the operation and outbound is a secondary campaign: appointment reminders, collections follow-up, renewal calls, win-back lists. The routing, reporting and workforce tools are built for a staffed floor, and the vertical clouds are a real shortcut for healthcare and financial services teams with specific compliance needs.
It is a weaker buy for a team whose whole job is outbound prospecting. You pay a support-center seat price for every rep, then a quoted dialer on top, then minutes, and you still need to hire and keep the reps who sit in those seats. At $105 a seat before anything else, a 10-rep team spends $12,600 a year on licences alone, and the dialer, usage and loaded cost of 10 SDRs all come after that.
If what you want is booked meetings rather than a contact center, the other option is to let an AI do the dialing. ColdCalls.ai works your list, discloses that it is an AI on every call, scrubs against the Do Not Call registry, qualifies the prospect, handles objections and books the meeting into your calendar. Our pricing is published in full: Starter $499, Growth $1,490 and Scale $3,900 a month with about 1,500, 6,000 and 20,000 connected minutes, and extra minutes from $0.12.
