Nextiva pricing starts at $15 per user a month for Core, $25 for Engage and $75 for Scale, billed annually on a 12 month term. Month to month, Core is $23 and Engage is $50. The contact center starts from $75 per agent a month, but progressive and predictive dialing only appear on the Professional and Premium contact center tiers, which are quote only. Taxes and per line fees come on top.
Why it works
What your team gets with Nextiva pricing
Three published phone plans
Core $15, Engage $25 and Scale $75 per user a month billed annually. Monthly billing is $23 for Core and $50 for Engage. The annual price needs a paid term of 12 months or longer.
No dialer on the priced plans
Core, Engage and Scale are a business phone system. Progressive, predictive and Quarterback dialing sit on the Professional and Premium contact center tiers, and both say Contact Sales.
The CRM link is an add-on
The comparison table marks Salesforce, HubSpot and other CRMs as Add on in all three business phone columns. Call recording is an add-on on Core. Budget both before you compare seat prices.
What it handles
Dialed, disclosed and booked on autopilot
The agent works your lead list, discloses it is an AI on every call, scrubs against DNC in real time, qualifies the prospect, handles objections, and books the meeting straight into your calendar and CRM.
- A published monthly price per AI SDR seat, from $499, with outbound dialing included
- Connected minutes inside every plan, from 1,500 on Starter to 20,000 on Scale
- An AI voice agent that opens the call, handles the first objection and qualifies
- Meetings booked onto your reps' calendars and the call written back to your CRM
- DNC scrubbing and state calling window checks applied before every dial
- AI disclosure at the top of every call, with every call recorded and transcribed
The landscape
Nextiva against the calling platforms US sales teams price beside it
Nextiva was read on October 6, 2026, CloudTalk on October 3, Dialpad and Aircall on October 2, JustCall on September 29 and Genesys on September 3, each from the vendor's own pricing page. Prices are per user a month billed annually unless stated, before taxes and carrier fees.
| Platform | What you are buying | Published US price | Where the outbound dialer sits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nextiva | Business phone system plus a separate contact center product | Core $15, Engage $25, Scale $75. Contact center from $75 per agent | Progressive and predictive dialing only on the quote-only Professional and Premium contact center tiers |
| Dialpad | Business phone with a sales-focused Sell line | Sell Essentials $39, Advanced $95, Premium $150 | Local presence and voicemail drop start on Sell Advanced at $95 |
| Aircall | Cloud phone for sales and support teams | Essentials $30, Professional $50, 3 licence minimum | PowerDialer is on Professional, not Essentials |
| JustCall | Cloud phone and SMS for sales teams | Team $29, Pro $49, Pro Plus $89, 2 licence minimum | The power dialer and Salesforce CTI start on Pro |
| CloudTalk | Cloud call center for sales and support | Starter $25, Essential $29, Expert $49 | Power dialer is a $15 add-on below Expert, parallel dialer a $39 add-on on every plan |
| Genesys Cloud CX | Enterprise contact center suite | CX 1 $75, CX 2 $115, CX 3 $155, CX 4 $240 per named user | Outbound campaigns on every tier, but Genesys recommends at least 15 agents for predictive mode |
| ColdCalls.ai | An AI SDR that makes the first touch outbound call, handles objections, qualifies and books the meeting | Starter $499, Growth $1,490, Scale $3,900 a month billed monthly, or 50 percent less billed yearly | Outbound dialing is the product, with connected minutes inside the plan. It does not run an inbound phone system |
Calling platforms reprice often, so every figure carries the date it was read. Nextiva does not print prices for its Professional and Premium contact center tiers, for the CRM add-on or for its per line regulatory fees, so any number for those you see elsewhere is a third party estimate or an older page. ColdCalls.ai is our own product and is marked as such.
How much does Nextiva cost per month?
Nextiva costs $15, $25 or $75 per user a month on its three small business plans when you sign an annual term. Those are the only seat prices on nextiva.com/pricing, read on October 6, 2026:
Core is $15 per user a month billed annually, or $23 month to month, which Nextiva labels "Save 35%". Engage is $25 billed annually, or $50 month to month, labeled "Save 50%". Scale is $75 per user a month and the page shows no monthly figure for it.
The footnote decides which price you get: "Eligibility for annual Small Business pricing: new small business customers with 1 to 100 employees signing a paid 12-month or longer minimum term agreement." A team that wants to stay month to month pays the higher number, and a company above 100 employees is outside the small business pricing altogether.
Two more figures sit on the same page. The Enterprise tab lists the contact center from $75 per agent a month, and a banner offers unlimited calling and XBert AI plans "from $99/mo". A promotional banner at the top also offers up to 12 months free with an asterisk, so read those terms on the order form rather than in a review.
Does Nextiva have a power dialer or predictive dialer?
Not on any plan with a published price. Core, Engage and Scale are a business phone system, and their feature lists carry no dialing modes at all. Nextiva sells outbound dialing inside its contact center product, and even there it starts one tier up.
The contact center comparison table lists "Dialing Modes (Progressive, Predictive, Quarterback)" with a dash in the Essential column and a check in Professional and Premium. Essential is the tier priced "From $75/agent/mo". Professional and Premium both read Contact Sales. The same split applies to list and campaign management, proactive outbound notifications and voicemail drop: none of them is on Essential.
So the honest answer for a cold calling team is that the cheapest Nextiva plan that can run a progressive or predictive campaign has no public price. If you need a dialer today and want a figure before a sales call, the business phone vendors that print one put it a tier up from entry: Aircall on Professional at $50, JustCall on Pro at $49, Dialpad's local presence on Sell Advanced at $95. We price the dedicated options on our call center dialer and power dialer software pages.
What is the difference between Nextiva Core, Engage and Scale?
The three plans share the same phone, video and team chat base. What changes as you move up is messaging volume, toll-free minutes, recording and the call center.
Texts per user a month: 100 on Core, 500 on Engage, unlimited on Scale. Free 1-800 calling minutes: none on Core, up to 2,000 on Engage, up to 10,000 on Scale. Recording phone calls: an add-on on Core, included on Engage and Scale. Built-in call center: not available on Core, an add-on on Engage, included on Scale, which Nextiva describes as blended inbound and outbound. Real-time transcription and AI call notes: Scale only.
One line does not change. "Salesforce, HubSpot and other CRMs" is marked Add on in all three columns, with a footnote that features "may involve extra setup, licensing, or usage fees." For a sales team that logs every call to the CRM, that add-on is part of the seat price, and Nextiva does not print it. We found the same pattern across several vendors in our Salesforce dialer comparison.
What taxes and fees does Nextiva add to the bill?
Nextiva adds a Regulatory Recovery Fee and an E911 fee to each line of service, plus the federal Universal Service Fee and state and local taxes. Its support article on taxes says the E911 fee is "charged to every VoIP line of service" and that the Universal Service Fee rate "is regulated by the FCC and changes quarterly."
The pricing page does not show the dollar amounts. Third party reviews quote figures for the per line fees, but we could not match them to a current first party page, so we do not repeat them here. Ask for a sample invoice with your state on it before you sign. Two details from the same article are worth knowing: tax exempt customers still pay the Regulatory Recovery Fee and the Universal Service Fee, and the fees apply per line, so a team of 10 reps pays them 10 times.
Does Nextiva require a contract?
For the advertised prices, yes. The $15, $25 and $75 figures require "a paid 12-month or longer minimum term agreement". Without that term, Core is $23 and Engage is $50 a user, so the month to month premium is 53 percent on Core and 100 percent on Engage.
The same plan block also says "Cancel anytime", which reads naturally for the month to month option. On an annual agreement, assume the term binds you until you have it in writing otherwise, and ask what happens to the seat count if your team shrinks during the year. For an outbound team that is still testing a channel, that question matters more than the $10 difference between plans.
What a 10 rep outbound team pays on Nextiva
Our arithmetic on the published figures, dated October 6, 2026, before taxes, per line fees and the CRM add-on:
Engage, annual: 10 x $25 = $250 a month, $3,000 a year. Engage, monthly: 10 x $50 = $500 a month. Scale: 10 x $75 = $750 a month, $9,000 a year. None of these runs a dialing campaign.
Contact center Essential: at the $75 starting price, 10 agents is $750 a month, still without progressive or predictive dialing. The tiers that dial are quote only.
For comparison on the same 10 reps, using each vendor's published annual price: Aircall Professional with PowerDialer is $500 a month, JustCall Pro is $490, Dialpad Sell Advanced is $950 and CloudTalk Expert is $490. Each of those prints the plan that dials. The full line items for those vendors are on our Dialpad pricing, JustCall pricing, CloudTalk pricing and Aircall pricing pages.
Whichever platform you pick, the seat is the smaller cost. Ten reps at a fully loaded US SDR cost dwarf a $750 phone bill, and a phone system does not make the calls.
Nextiva vs an AI SDR for cold calling
They solve different problems, and plenty of teams run both. Nextiva gives every employee a business number, a desk and mobile app, texting and a support queue. It is a strong choice if inbound calls and customer service are the main load.
It is a weaker fit if the job is first touch outbound. The priced plans have no dialer, the dialing tiers have no public price, and every dial still needs a rep in the seat. An AI SDR takes the other side of that trade: the agent makes the first calls, discloses that it is AI, handles the opening objections, qualifies against your criteria and books the meeting onto a rep's calendar.
On our pricing page Starter is $499 a month for one AI SDR seat with 1,500 connected minutes, and Growth is $1,490 a month for three seats with 6,000 connected minutes, or half that billed yearly. Keep Nextiva for the phones your people answer, and point the AI SDR at the list nobody has time to dial.
