The Apollo dialer is not a separate product with its own price. The US Dialer comes with Apollo's Basic ($49), Professional ($79) and Organization ($119) seats on annual billing, and every call draws from your credit pool at 1 credit per 30 seconds. The power dialer, parallel dialer, local presence and international calling sit in the Advanced Dialer add-on at $119 per team a month billed annually. Read from apollo.io/pricing on October 4, 2026.
Apollo is bought as a prospecting database first and a phone second, so most pricing write-ups stop at the seat price. For a team that actually dials from Apollo, the bill has three moving parts: the seat plan, the credits that both the contact data and the call minutes come out of, and the team add-on that holds the dialing modes outbound reps care about. Below is each one, what a 5 and a 10 rep team pays, and how the result compares with the dialers teams usually price beside it.
How much does the Apollo dialer cost?
On Apollo's pricing page, with US dollars and annual billing selected, the plans read as follows. Apollo labels annual billing "save 24%".
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | Credits per seat | Calling | Call recording |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 900 a year, granted monthly | No US Dialer listed | 150 minutes |
| Basic | $49 per seat | $65 per seat | 30,000 a year, upfront (2,500 a month on monthly) | US Dialer, credits apply | 150 minutes |
| Professional | $79 per seat | $99 per seat | 48,000 a year, upfront (4,000 a month on monthly) | US Dialer, credits apply | 4,000 minutes with AI insights |
| Organization | $119 per seat, 3 seat minimum | $149 per seat | 72,000 a year, upfront | US Dialer, credits apply | 8,000 minutes with AI insights |
The Advanced Dialer is listed separately as an add-on at $119 per team per month billed annually, or $149 billed monthly. Apollo says you select a paid plan first and then add it in the app, and the page marks it as introductory pricing that "may change". One more rule shapes the bill: all seats on an Apollo account must be on the same plan, so you cannot put your SDRs on Professional and your account executives on Basic.
Is the Apollo dialer free?
No. The Free plan does not list the US Dialer at all, and on the paid plans the dialer is included in the seat but every call consumes credits. Apollo's credit table prices US calling at 1 credit per 30 seconds, which is 2 credits for each minute on the phone. International calling is listed as "varies by region". So the honest answer is that dialing access comes with a paid seat, and the minutes are paid for out of the same credit pool you use to reveal emails and phone numbers.
The 14 day trial includes 75 credits. At 2 credits a minute that is under 40 minutes of US calling if you spend none of them on contact data, which is enough to test call quality and the CRM logging, but not enough to judge connect rates on a real list.
What does the Apollo Advanced Dialer include?
Apollo's add-on card lists four things: international calling, the Parallel Dialer ("dial multiple numbers at once"), the Power Dialer ("single-line dialing with auto-advance, voicemail drop, and instant call logging") and Local Presence, which shows a local area code to the person you call. In other words, the dialing modes an outbound team uses to get through a list quickly live in the add-on, not in the seat.
The add-on is priced per team, not per user, which is unusual and works in favor of larger teams. At 10 reps, $119 a month spreads to about $12 a rep. At 2 reps it is about $60 a rep, which nearly doubles a Basic seat. If you are deciding between parallel and single-line dialing in general, the trade-offs (connects per hour against caller ID wear and abandoned calls) are laid out on our parallel dialer software page, and the single-line mode on power dialer software.
How many Apollo credits does calling use?
More than most teams expect, because calling competes with data for the same pool. Apollo's credit table charges 1 credit for an email, 8 credits for a phone number, 1 to 8 credits for enrichment, 1 credit per AI research run and 1 credit per 30 seconds of US calling. Credits are pooled across the whole team, granted upfront at the start of each billing cycle, and expire at the end of it, including credits you bought as an add-on.
Here is our arithmetic for one SDR on Professional, which carries 4,000 credits a month. We assume 60 dials a day over 21 working days, most of them ringing out or reaching voicemail in under 30 seconds, and a 10 percent connect rate with four minute conversations. These are assumptions for illustration, not Apollo figures.
| Line | Volume a month | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Short dials (no answer, voicemail) | about 1,134 | about 1,134 at 1 credit each |
| Conversations of 4 minutes | about 126 | about 1,008 at 8 credits each |
| New mobile numbers revealed | 250 | 2,000 at 8 credits each |
| Total | about 4,142, above the 4,000 included |
The point is not the exact number, it is the shape. A rep who reveals a few hundred direct dials a month and then calls them can exhaust a Professional seat's credits before the month ends, and because the pool is shared, one heavy dialer eats into everyone else's data budget. Apollo lets admins set per user credit caps, and extra credits are bought in the app with a slider and "charged immediately". The per credit price of those top ups is not published on the pricing page, and third party roundups quote figures that disagree with each other, so get the rate for your plan in writing before you budget calling on Apollo.
If your team is spending most of its pool on looking up addresses rather than on calls, a standalone email finder that verifies each address can take that load off the shared credits, leaving Apollo's allowance for direct dials and minutes.
What does Apollo cost for a team of 5 or 10 SDRs?
Our arithmetic on Apollo's published annual prices, before any credit top ups and before taxes.
5 SDRs on Professional with the Advanced Dialer: 5 x $79 = $395, plus $119 for the team add-on, is $514 a month, or $6,168 a year. On monthly billing the same setup is 5 x $99 + $149 = $644 a month.
10 SDRs on Organization with the Advanced Dialer: 10 x $119 = $1,190, plus $119, is $1,309 a month, or $15,708 a year. Organization adds 8,000 recording minutes a seat and 72,000 credits a seat a year, which is where heavy dialers usually end up.
3 reps on Basic without the add-on: 3 x $49 = $147 a month. That buys the database and US calling from the browser, but not the power or parallel dialer, local presence or more than 150 minutes of recording.
Apollo vs Close, PhoneBurner and CloudTalk on dialer cost
The cheapest seat that gets a rep a real list-dialing mode, per user a month on annual billing.
| Product | Cheapest seat with a power dialer | How calls are billed | Parallel dialing | Date read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apollo | Basic $49 plus the $119 per team Advanced Dialer | Credits, 1 per 30 seconds of US calling | In the Advanced Dialer add-on | October 4, 2026 |
| Close | Growth $99 | Twilio pay as you go, around $0.02 a minute, rounded up to the minute | Predictive dialer on Scale at $139 | October 4, 2026 |
| PhoneBurner | Standard $140 | Unlimited dialing on the seat | No, one call at a time per rep | September 21, 2026 |
| CloudTalk | Essential $29 plus the $15 Power Dialer, or Expert $49 | Per plan, see the full breakdown | $39 per user add-on | October 3, 2026 |
The plan by plan detail is in our Close CRM pricing breakdown, PhoneBurner pricing and CloudTalk pricing. Apollo's real advantage is that the numbers come from the same place you dial them, so there is no import step and no second data contract. Its weakness for a dialing-heavy floor is that minutes are not a separate, predictable line: they come out of the budget that also pays for the data.
Is the Apollo dialer worth it for an outbound team?
For a team that already prospects in Apollo and makes calls as one step in a sequence, yes. Professional plus the Advanced Dialer gives five reps a parallel dialer, local presence and logged calls for $514 a month, which is less than five PhoneBurner seats on their own. It is a weaker fit when calling is the main job. A floor that dials for six hours a day will feel the credit pool, and it will usually need Organization for the recording minutes.
What no dialer changes is who makes the calls. Every Apollo seat still needs an SDR working the list, and the rep is the expensive line, not the $79. If first touch calls are the bottleneck, ColdCalls.ai is a different purchase: our AI voice agent places the calls inside each state's calling window, says it is an AI, handles the first objection, qualifies against your criteria and books the meeting onto your reps' calendars, with DNC checks before every dial. Starter is $499 a month for one AI SDR seat with about 1,500 connected minutes inside the plan, Growth is $1,490 for three seats and Scale is $3,900 for ten, and yearly billing halves each. Your reps keep Apollo for research and the conversations that need a person. Plans are on our pricing page, and how the agent works is on AI cold calling software.
Apollo dialer pricing FAQ
Does Apollo have a dialer? Yes. The US Dialer is listed on the Basic, Professional and Organization plans, with credits applied to every call. The power dialer, parallel dialer, local presence and international calling come with the Advanced Dialer add-on.
How much is the Apollo Advanced Dialer? $119 per team per month on annual billing, or $149 on monthly billing. It is priced per team rather than per user, and Apollo labels it introductory pricing that may change.
How many credits does an Apollo call use? US calls use 1 credit per 30 seconds, so a 4 minute conversation costs 8 credits, the same as revealing one phone number. International rates vary by region. Credits are pooled across the team and do not roll over.
Does the Apollo Free plan include calling? The Free plan does not list the US Dialer. It carries 900 credits a seat a year and 150 minutes of call recording, but dialing starts on the paid plans.
Can different users be on different Apollo plans? No. Apollo states that all seats on an account are on the same plan, so the plan your heaviest dialers need sets the price for every seat.
Is Apollo cheaper than PhoneBurner? For five reps, usually yes on list price: Professional plus the Advanced Dialer is $514 a month against $700 for five PhoneBurner Standard seats. PhoneBurner includes unlimited dialing, though, while Apollo bills every call in credits.
